To register, please pay the registration fee on the Payment page. There is a discount for returning students(summer or school year). Upon receipt of this payment, you will receive the registration form to begin the scheduling process.

Tutoring Policies for the Academic Year 2025-26
Covert Educational Services
We are so excited to be working with your family this year! Please take a moment to read the following policies to help us better serve our students.
Student’s Weekly Tutoring Schedule and Location:
If the student is meeting one of our tutors in the office, please come to 3074 Baker Rd. (Park and enter on Forest St.)If you are on Zoom you can enter the zoom a few minutes before your appointment. Sessions can take place in your home for an additional charge.
Academic Calendar
We will follow the Dexter school district school calendar. If your tutoring session falls on a day off of school, we will not meet, however, tutoring will be scheduled on half days unless canceled by the student. Sessions may be requested on some school days off and will be scheduled based on availability.
Payment Policy
Payment is required at the time of the session. There are discounts for prepayment. Those packages can be found on our website.
Cancellation Policy
Attendance is important and regular attendance is required for your child to make progress with tutoring. Please provide 48 hours notice for cancellations. One cancellation per semester will be refunded, and any additional missed sessions will continue to be invoiced. If the cancellation comes from Covert Educational Services, you will be credited the session fee.
Inclement Weather Policy
We will follow the Dexter school district cancellations due to inclement weather. If the school system cancels school due to inclement weather, tutoring sessions will be canceled as well.
Discontinue Services/ Schedule Change Policy
Please provide 14 days notice if you will need to discontinue services. If you require a schedule change, please provide 7 days notice.
Tutoring Session Duration
Each tutoring session will be for 55 minutes, 5 with minutes available at the end for parent/guardian communication if needed. Progress will be reported at the end of sessions.
Materials Required
If a student brings a computer or tablet they need to come in with a charging cord. Students who do not bring their own materials will spend the sessions working on review materials of the tutor’s choice.
Communication Preferences
The last 5 minutes of each session can be reserved for communication with parents and the tutor or for the tutor to fill out session notes. There will also be a weekly email from the tutor containing a brief summary of sessions that can be made available.
